Easy Heart Bookmark:
A Fun Craft for Bookworms

Published on 9 January 2025  By: Meera

This DIY heart bookmark is just too cute! It’s very easy to make and is a fun craft for bookworms. Kids and adults will enjoy making it.

You only need a square piece of paper. That’s it!

Here’s how to make it:

  1. Start with a square piece of paper. Mine is 9x9cm. You can use any size as long as all of the sides are the same length.

2. Fold the paper in halves and crease it with a ruler of your finger. Then unfold it.

3. Turn the paper 90 degrees and fold again. Crease and unfold.

4. Bring one side of the paper up to the middle line and crease.

5. Turn the paper over (from left to right – not top to bottom).

6. Bring one corner toward the middle line and crease it.

7. Repeat with the other corner.

8. Turn the paper over from left to right.

9. Fold the one side toward the middle and crease it.

10. Repeat with the other side.

11. Fold the top corner toward the middle and crease it.

12. Repeat with the other corner.

13. Bring the top triangular part downward and crease it. Press down on the little arrow-looking folds at the top-middle.

14. Tuck the flap in the little pocket.

15. Fold in the corner at the top. Repeat with the other side.

16. All finished! Isn’t it so cute?
